Mechanism
Omeprazole weakly inhibits CYP3A4 – atorvastatin exposure rises modestly (10–20 %). Clinically meaningful additional myopathy is rare.
Management
Routine dose adjustment is not required. If muscle pain develops, check CK and reconsider the statin.
