ACE-inhibitor peptide for eyelid puffiness reduction.
Dipeptide-2 is a synthetic valine-tryptophan dipeptide. INCI: Dipeptide-2. Often included in the Eyeliss complex (Sederma) together with Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone and Pal-GQPR. In cosmetics it works as a peptide inhibitor of the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) in eyelid skin, which improves lymph drainage and reduces eye bags. It also reduces capillary permeability. Use levels run from 0.05 to 0.5%. Pregnancy safety. Systemic absorption is minimal. Skin profile. Low irritation and allergen potential. Non-comedogenic. Suitable for all skin types. Moderate evidence (B) – manufacturer's clinical data.
